Thanks to the two who responsed on the question about sub-flooring. My partner is still skeptical and needs more convincing. Anyone had advantech or top notch subflooring in use for awhile? We’d be laying carpet, tile and laminate floor over top.

We've used advantech for about three years. With tile we add BC plywood, (1/2"). We install carpet and 3/4" oak over the advantech. I've never used it with laminates. However it has been exceptional in every case.

*I used advantec on a motel job 2 years ago with great suspicion, being a fir plywood beleiver for many years. We laid 1,200 sheets over a period of about 3 weeks, with a fair amount of bad weather exposure in that time, including a lot of rain and snow. We only had to replace one peice, and that was from being damaged by a falling peice of lumber 25' up in the air. We also installed all of the trim later on the job and didn't see any signs of warp or buckling. I spec it now on every home we build.
