There was an article in an archived issue regarding a rack made of PVC for drying trim after spraying. I cannot find it in my saved mags and I paid for reprints, but cannot find it in archives either. Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks

The cover protector on FHB issue 172 had the Trade Secrets this issue that shows the PVC drying rack. from Terry Brogan, Crown Pt., Indiana.
edit: sorry, the scanner is on the fritz. I'm sure someone else here saves the tips, they'll maybe be able to post it.

The trouble with doing one's own remodeling is that things sometimes take so long that good intentions get lost. I kept the Trade Secrets cover about the drying rack, and kept moving it around so that I could find it when I needed it. I even went out and bought all the materials. Now, I'm down to trim work in several rooms, and can't find the page. So, I was happy to hear from someone who knew what issue it came from, but sorry you can't reproduce it. I guess I'll have to wait for someone else to read this and make it available.I wrote to FHB via the contact us page, asking about this, but no one ever replied. Thanks for pinning it down. At this point I'm leaning toward sending you my scanner.--Richard in Fountain Valley CA

Sorry for the delay. Couple of cold ones with the neighbors. Gotta be neighborly. And their easy to be neighborly with.

I wrote a 'Tips & Techniques' article about drying racks for issue #149 (Aug/Sep 02). It appeared on page 32 under the title, "Drying Racks for Painted Trim Work." I don't know if that's been archived or not.
