Mike, I hope you keep this community alive. I haven't made it to one of these fests, but I lived vicariously through all of them.

Where is everyone? Susan and I will host the Fest(provided Jim Blodgett is willing to set the example on travel distance). But where the heck is everyone? Is this thing over?
Will have to be in July cuz you can't get a hotel in August (Horse Racing) here without mortgaging your house. Plenty of camping within 6 miles or so, plus my yard (1 acre, not a Peach Orchard, god that was cool). Location is upstate NY, about 3 hrs drive north from TipiFest in Saratoga Springs, NY.

We're in. Just talked with Kathy about it. Glad to see a pulse here and there in the community.
Who else is in? Shep? 'Snort? Vince? Diesel? Andy? Mr T? Calvin? Mike? Piffin? Pete? Jeff Buck? seeyou? Gunner? Terry Eaton? David? Rich? Duane? Jet? Hudson Valley? Jer?
Come on you guys, time to breath some life into this thing.
Sara freakin' toga in July. Sounds pretty good, right there.
I'm planning to stay over at least one extra Saturday night so I can go to the races at Lebanon Valley while I'm there. Might take a moonlight dip in Lake Garfield while I'm home and go see some relatives too.
Yeah. This sounds like a winner to me.

I'm planning on making the fest this year no matter what. It'd be great if you and Susan hosted it- that's a fairly short drive for me.
You did ask Susan if it was OK before you said anything, I hope. Not that it would make any difference now. You're stuck with us. LOL

I don't know. A few of us are working out a canoe trip in Minnesota. Maybe all the way up to the boundry waters. That's not a done deal but we are getting pretty serious about it. That's looking like the 1st week in August. If you guys do it earlier in July I might be able to do it. I'd have to work it out with my transportation captain though. I'm sure he's in.
Mike and Susan you guys would be great hosts. Maybe we'll pitch in and buy you a Lull as a thank you.

you got stock in mosquito repellent?
Boundry Waters are beautiful - water is cold, black flies plentiful, mosquitoes will drive you into the tent at dusk, bears are quite opportunist, they wander thru camp each night, one got our peanut butter within 15 minutes of picking a campsite, while we were toting more supplies up the hill -
- Portages will make a man out of you - and you have to make at least one good one to get away from people -
you can get lost there - that's both good and bad -
have fun -

Talked to Dieselpig a little bit ago. He's in. We are looking at doing a backpacking/camping trip in the Adirondaks either before or after. What's the skinny on that.
I'm starting to think Calvin might be on to something. Mike threw out the offer and hasn't said a word since. I remember the story of him getting crazy with lust and bidding on a Lull on Ebay. I think this might be another one of those. Ohh well this is like chess. Once you take your hand of the piece your commited. :)
