I will get the list out by Wed.  I'm sorry for the delay.  The end of this week turned into a train wreck for me.  I had a take home final to finish coupled with various disasters occuring at work.  Sadly I also had one our of carpenters pass on this week which has added a great deal to deal with at work.

Cut off is this Friday, if anyone elese is interested.  I still have a few names to add to the list, so if you do not see yours yet not to worry.  Final list will be put up sometime by sunday evening.

Getting to be about that time again.

Anyone who is interested in participating in this years gift exchange post to me here or send an e-mail through BT.

For those of you who don't know how it works.  You sign up, e-mail your name and address to me.  I will make a list up of everyone who wants in then names are drawn.   Last year I matched people to each other, this year I'll do a secret Santa thing so you won't just be mailing them back and forth.

If you are interested e-mail me your information, please include your BT name in the e-mail

Rules... all people who want to participate need to let me know by Dec. 8

            Suggested Spending Limit is $30.00

Gifts can be anything, tools or otherwise.

I will keep a running list of names in the  bottom of this first post, if you do not see your name there with in a few days of telling me, send me another one.

Last thing, the last two years people have signed up and then not sent their gift, I can understand situations changing or simply getting to busy, if you think that might happen to you I'd request you stay out of it.  If something does come up, no big deal, just e-mail and let me know.

Also, someone indicated they wanted to run things this year.  I aboslutely do not mind doing it, however if someone really wants to take it over e-mail me about it.

Edit Dec 2nd

I have the following names and info so far, if you do not see your name please post your interest here and send me an e-mail with your information.  Thanks

Wasn't last year 50$?

30 is not worth the shipping if some one, say..happens to be in Bermuda ( sorry Gabe). I understand the complexities and we CAN go over the limit, but it should be taken into consid.

Ummm..also, do we have to be paired? I mean I got Gabe, Gabe got me..or was that a fluke?  Not that I have problem with Gabe, but I think a Random name ought get a random name, not a pairing ?  Or did I just have a brain fart?

Anyway, I'm IN!   And lets remember that out of the Country, takes a LOT more time!

And If some one gets in a bind and can't fulfill the plan, I'll be ok with lending a hand to that effect, just don't take advantage of that.

Thanks Niel ( Santa).

Nope, no-one will be paired this year unless it's by accident.  Last two years I think I paired people, most people indicate they'd rather have it a "secret santa" type thing so that's how I'll draw them this year.

As for the limit, it's up to you guys?  I set it at 30 to keep it reasonable but most/all want to raise it I'm fine with that.

I didn't mean to be an #### by making the statement about people signing up and not going through with it, but it's happened in the past and it's a bummer.

I'll just reiterate that 30 bucks don't go too far these days..it often could make shopping a [CUTE LITTLE PUPPY].

Carry on..

Some of us are bargain shoppers - can't you tell? ;-)

Having been one of the unfortunates last year, I have to admit I'd be a bit hesitant to lose another $100.  Not saying anyone will accept a gift but not send their gift this year, but it is a possibility.

I vote for the $30 limit.

I got screwed that way 2 Xmasses ago, sent a nice package with good stuff and nada back - not even lumps of coal.

Waited mebbe 3 weeks then PM'd the guy inquiring nicely. No reply. Tried again, still calm and polite. No reply.

Then I outed the F'er posting direct to him, he read the post but still no reply, no "I got fired and need the $ to pay for my kid's brain surgery", nothing. Bstid worked in a lumber yard too, per his profile.

But thankfully his namesake did not reappear in this place.

Edit: Should mention that CAGIV helped me out, going above and beyond what the Xchge job entails, trying to convince the guy to play fair. Thanks again.

The $30 buck limit is "the genius" thing.  You gotta be clever if you don't have the money...I have done so in the past...

I sent what I had...

Isn't that interesting?
I knew you would.

Originally it was to do a bad tool exchange. But I think we all would have gave and got profile sanders.

You'll have to ask Cag.

The Prymate was new, btw.  We still have about 70 left in the shop, waiting to get fired up to sell them again.

What is a Prymate?

Like a big honking roof ripper, but heavier steel. It'd kill ya tearing off shingles, more of a Toothed dolly jack...I'll try to get a pic of the one I got for Xmas from Luka.

This of course calls for an adaptation of the old joke...

'What's the difference between erotic and kinky?'

'Erotic is fooling around with fur; kinky is using the whole monkey.'

He's one prehensile dude, for sure.

Here ya go Rich.  This septre makes me the queen of demo, for sure.  I use it all the time.  Even to hang heavy exterior doors: Lay it in place, rock heavy door on top of it, use foot to raise door up to the hinges, pivot as needed, and drop the hinge pins in...did that make any sense? (I hope)

DH designed and manufatcured it.  I want him to do a smaller version...say, 20in, with a 2 1/2 inch head.
