Breaktime Xmas Gift Exchange (post #205375)

Gentlemen and Ladypersons, do we hear any interest for the (in)famous BT Xmas Gift Exchange?

Open to all. It'd be great to see some new faces on the exchange list. It'd also be great to see if this pulls IMERC out from the fishing camp he's been hiding in.

How it works (for those not familiar). After the sign up deadline, I'll send you a name & address to send a gift to. You'll receive a gift from someone else on the forum.

Suggested $30 limit. We've had several requests in years past for your (received) gift to be donated to someone in the giver's local community, or your community. If you've got a special request like that, be sure to let me know so we can accommodate you.

Want to sign up? Send me your real name, screen name here, email address, mailing address and phone # to santa AT fatroman DOT com

Deadline midnight Saturday, Dec 10.

Good thing. (post #205375, reply #2 of 5)

You were already on Santa's list.

Did you get my email from last week? Think my mail server might be asleep at the switch. Sent some kid pics and was wondering if you knew anything about Provia's doors since they were out your way.

oh boy........... (post #205375, reply #3 of 5)

I've been lax in communications.

Until I started saying yes, was looking good finishing a kitchen.  The yes's put the screws to the "well laid plans of mice and men".

But, except for one beyond control, this a.m.'s trip into southern Mi. will complete all the promises I tried to keep.

Gabi-I see a bit of you in the young lass, but thinking your wife is also coming through in the looks dept.  Something like that or she's just  one beautiful girl.  Thanks for the pictures.

Provia, nope-never heard of them.  What town in ohio is there base of operations?  You'd think to be looked at in comparison to Andersen there'd be more impact here in the home state.

Not to worry! (post #205375, reply #4 of 5)

Just wasn't sure if my missives weren't being re-routed to Santa instead these days.

Are we getting some photos of that kitchen? Always a pleasure to see your work, you know.

Thanks. I'm sure she gets all the good looks from the missus. And I think you are on deck for some photos of the grandsquirts, now, no?

They're in Sugarcreek, Ohio. Maybe down by Hubcap. He'd heard of them, but thought Andersen was a better idea. So I think that's what we are going with. Might have to do a thread on the install. Less taxing than your 'How do we get that big slider up there' one, though. Fortunately for me, it's at ground level.

Safe travels today. Happy Thanksgiving to the Stewarts!

If this phone doesn't stop ringing.......... (post #205375, reply #5 of 5)

I'm gonna .............man, now a new one wonders "if" I could do just one little thing b/4 turkey day.

Kitchens.............alright-go up to Mi this morning to deal with a tile setter's handywork that I've been waiting from when the weather was hot.  I'll take the camera.

and then onto the current kitchen, being painted, papered and adjusted-this one didn't have to be done till after tomorrow, but I thought I just might have a chance.....................waiting on some backordered, late designer ordered (late customer picked) things also.  Looks good as shambles go.

I'll make an effort to shoot and post, if not here then at QT-it's a nice repository.

The same goes with the grandkids, whom we'll be seeing tomorrow for a long weekend in Nashville.  You folks have a good time with the bird.
