As I stood before the gates I realized that I never want to be as certain about anything as were the people who built this place. --Rabbi Sheila Peltz, on her visit to Auschwitz
We are like tenant farmers chopping down the fence around our house for fuel when we should be using Nature's inexhaustible sources of energy -- sun, wind and tide. ... I'd put my money on the sun and solar energy. What a source of power! I hope we don't have to wait until oil and coal run out before we tackle that. --Thomas Edison

Actually I was watching a little of the amazing race tonight and think we should try something like that. With drinking of course.

I've tried to promote BT members into applying for Survivor, to give us all a rooting interest. I expect that we'd be able to find a winner here for that show or Amazing Race. So, how about taking me up on that challenge? You'd be a great competitor.

I'll look into the application deal, find you and others a link to the info.
FWIW, seems to me that anyone from the trades who shows some "personality" in the video portion of the application should have a leg up on all the California bartenders and models who are the typical contestants.
From the first two episodes of this season's Survivor, the guy who's getting the most attention in the final edit is mildly demented, manipulative character who remsembles a toad. He'll probably get the axe pretty soon but he's definitely pulling in the viewers while he's still there.
Not to suggest that you fit that description, but you do fall into the mildly demented category. ;-)

There not realy looking for people who would survive, they want the high drama types. Something to bring in an audience.
If he promised them he would die on camera, he be in a ( shall we say) heartbeat.

Here's a briefing on what it takes to get picked to be on Survivor.

You have a back like a girl. You would never be able to carry me throughout the race like Grant could.
I also enjoy sitting down to pee.
You should try it, it's fun.
