Welcome. You`ve found the best place on the web for a variety of viewpoints on a variety of construction topics. (As well as some meaningless drivel on absolutely nothing!)

Come on in, kick yer boots off and share your knowledge. Dont take no guff, but don`t go lookin` for it either. Have fun and welcome once more!

Just moved DW's parents out here from Gorham where they'd lived forever.  It's nice there, but they don't miss the snow.  And I drove a truck outa there in one helluva windstorm.  (Sept. 11, 2002)

Right now I'm doing a bathroom remodel.

Welcome ptnbear!

I haven't been here long, either.  It's like most neighborhoods:  It's generally pretty good, but there are a couple of dark alleys.

It doesn't matter how fast you get there, it just matters that you go in the right direction.

Well, he's a 'foreigner' (East Coast), so I doubt it's a wormdrive.  :-)

(I must point out that, my Father-in-Law, a NH native and an old carpenter who gave me a hand on my house a time or two, did nothing but [CUTE LITTLE PUPPY] and moan about my WD's...."they're too heavy...blades on the wrong side...they don't feel right...and blah blah blah").

Be well Jim
