My wife is insisting that we do next year's fest... again (August 2009). It would be the tenth anniversary fest..... the real tenth anniversary... of the fest, not of the board.
at any rate, she wants to do it and if mama ain't happy then nobody's happy.
Just something for you all to chew on.
The first fest occured on August 5, 2000

I thought Gunner or Dieselpig had their names in the ring already for Fest 2009.
Maybe there's gonna have to be an arm wrestling contest at PeachFest for the honors?
I aint wrestling the guy for it. But if I want to I'll still have one. One rule. No smoking pot in the house!
That's what the deck with the view is for. :)

Pete, in defference to those that have already offered to host I'm hoping they don't get discouraged. While your sweetheart is anxious to hold the fest again, it would be nice to go to yet another locale and party.
Offering more than one might work, but from what we've seen with these things, I'm doubtful.
Something to think about.
And of course me being from Cleve over 30 yrs ago might have something to do with going somewhere more strange.

That is for sure rez, that is for sure.
But Cleve can't take all the glory-there's some strange almost everywhere you look anymore.

Yea. It's like way too early to lock it up for next year. And if the first fest was in 2000 and the ten year anniversary is going to be in 09.............. Well maybe I aint brite enough to host one. I mean I do have ten fingers. And when I add that up I still got a finger left. So wouldn't the ten year anniversary be the next year?
I'm starting to figure out why he tanked the Governors race so fast.

and then there are events
1st event was 2000
and unless i misremember, pete didn't name it.... the consensus of the attendees named it
