No, I have the right number of zeros.
“NEW YORK, Jan 25 (Reuters Life!) – If you’re looking for a new home and have $155 million to spare, you could be the proud owner of the world’s most expensive abodes.
Forbes.com, the online site of Forbes magazine, on Thursday said timber and real estate baron Tim Blixseth has just upped the ante in the price of the world’s most expensive home, planning to build and sell a home for $155 million.
The 53,000-square-foot stone and wood mansion will be built at the Yellowstone Club, a members-only, residential ski and golf resort near Bozeman, Montana developed by Blixseth.”
“The 10-bedroom mansion will sit on 160 acres and will come with a private gondola-like chairlift that will carry residents to the Yellowstone Club’s private ski slopes, an indoor/outdoor swimming pool, and a home movie theater, and it is fully furnished.”
I understand that if you put up a $1 mill deposit on it that you can pick your own paint colors.

Gene, we are counting on you. You need to come up with one to top this one.

A-holes. Hey every group has to have one. And I have been elected to be the one. I should make that my tagline.

Why would anyone with $155m buy a home that isn't custom designed by a team of architects to fit their own lifestyle?

they can't be bothered???Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming<!----><!----><!---->
WOW!!! What a Ride!Forget the primal scream, just ROAR!!!
there are those people that will seek out the most expensive just so they can say that they bought the most expensive!
For some folks, that would just be a vacation home that they seldom visit. The personal Boeing 747-8 they fly to the place costs almost twice that much. You can't imagine the wealth you find in The United Arab Emirates or Saudi Arabia. There's plenty here in the USA, too. Chances are, it will have some tax deduction benefits.Beat it to fit / Paint it to match

They should get their facts straight. $155, not even close. I worked on a home here on Long Island that cost over $250 million.
But it wasn't a spec home(g)...buic

Although I find the $155 mil a little out of my price range I did think that it was a little on the light side for record prices of homes being built and sold. I thought I saw where that boob Trump had a place down in Florida that he was asking in excess of $100 mill and I know of a house in Austin Tx thats supposed to come in around the same $100 mil. I doubt that either of these two house are among the top sellers out there.
