Estimating Software - Any Advice?

Superglide's picture

Hello. I'm looking to see what is available on the market for Residential Construction and Remodeling Job Estimating software.

What programs are out there? How do you like them? Pros/cons? Features, details, etc.

Thanks for the help.

There are many high end estimating software on the market. Many of these are high priced with a monthly subscription. An affordable option is found at $249

This program uses Microsoft excel which is great for customizing the program to fit your construction business needs.  It is simple to use and you control the material and labor prices.

We use isqft Takeoff to do the takeoffs, and input this information into an excel spreadsheet to churn out pricing.

At least the other spammer (post #118584, reply #3 of 3)

At least the other spammer didn't hide the fact he is a shill for the company.  iSqFt hides the cost of the software so you have to contact them and waste time to find out whether it offers any monetary advantage to use it.

My guess is it's not cost effective.
