Advice needed on how to pull up a mud bed without ruining the membrane
Well, I created a mud bed, but didn’t mix it with sand (and too much water), now worried that the weep holes are clogged and the bed won’t drain properly, so I think I bed pull it up and start again – the question is how do I do this without damaging the membrane below AND the wonderboard on the sides? Any advice on how to proceed?

Pulled it up and ripped the membrane, grrr. Oh well, going to patch it and water test it again. Hope I don't ruin the wonderboard in the process!
Too bad.
Oh, well. You all ready did it. I was going to suggest a hazmat suit and a 55 gal. drum of hydrochloric acid.
At the risk of being ignored again..... Let me suggest to you to visit the johnbridge website for a lot of helpful advice. You seem to jump from one crisis to another on this project so taking some time to do proper research seems advisable. For instance, your use of concrete in place of dry pack could have been avoided had you done a little reading beforehand. Building a shower isn't all that complicated but some of the steps are not real intuitive. Getting guidence is a good thing. The guys at john bridge have explained it all before to others and will do if for you too. They seem to be a patient and knowledgable lot.
I wonder... did you install the waterproofing membrane behind the wonderboard? If not, your shower will lead to mold in the walls. Ask about that at the john bridge site.

Yes, I followed the advice and there is a membrane up the walls, 6 inches past higher than the curb - this is behind the wonderboard.
replace, don't save
Whenever you pull up mud over a membrane, replace the membrane. It's so easy for the membrane to get nicked or compressed during demo.
The cost of a leak repair after your tiling is complete versus the cost of more membrane to replace your existing? It's a small investment.
Part of the learning curve.
