Other than the shingles (comp) themselves, is there any other considerations envolved in the installation of a class 4 roofing system? I can’t find anything that is different than a good standard comp. roofing installations.

Impact resistance
Im guessing you are talking about the impact resistance classification (UL or FM)?
like all other things like this i would assume the manufacturers specific installation insttructions would be the thing to look at. I do know recommendations are made for 3-4 rated shingles. dont think these are required by the manufacturer but simply recommendations for better resistance.
