I’ve been entertaining the idea of building a cobblestone driveway for some time but the conflict of how to do it has left me procrastinating. I’ve been told to pour an 8″ base of concrete then lay the cobblestone over that with mortar between the cobblestones. I’ve also been told to lay the cobblestone over 6-8″ of crushed concrete(recycled concrete). Put down in 2″ layers and tamped after each layer. Is there anyone who has done a number of these jobs and found a proven way to do this job right!I would appreciate any insight. Thank You, CK
