My roof rafters run from the ridge to the beam on the front porch, 7 pitch. The porch is 10 feet wide. I assume I should put my water sheild above the exterior wall and towards the living space ?
Thanks
Roy

There's a constant source of clean water for you to use, and all you have to do is collect it.

The rule of thumb I went with was to apply it from the outer eave to three feet above/in from the exterior wall.
I thought I'd try an experiment here with a drawing.
First is an spd Softplan drawing
Second is saved as a bitmap (large slow file)
Third is a smalleer JPG (fast download)
