question on replacement window flashing on sill pan
Hopefully I can make this so everyone can understand my question. We are having replacement windows installed they are done on the outsideand some minor work on the inside. My wife and I went out to look at the windows and on each window I pressed the overhang flashing on the sill pan. This was a problem with the previous windows. Water would collect in the sill plan flashing and in turn rot ayny wood in the sill flashing.
I pressed flashing on all the windows. Two of the windows had a significant amount of water come out of the flashing (it rained on Friday)
Should there be an amount of water in any part of the window flashing? My gut instict says no but I just want to be sure.
thanks for all help in advance.

Dave, sorry to say but not sure what your trying to describe. Any chance you could post a picture of what your refering to?
Were the windows sills replaced as well? Are they in masonry?
No, Ideally there should not be water buildup between the window and the sill, the sill should have been flashed so that any water that does gets in on the sides or top is shed by the flashing.
a picture of the window, a sill closeup would be very helpfull.
