Tyvek vs Blueskin on plywood with spray foam insulation
I’m in the process of renovation an 1970’s stick frame home (2×4) construction. I’ve taken it down to the studs, including removing all exterior siding.
We will be spray foaming the exterior walls with closed cell spray foam, and now wonder if we can apply an impermable membrane to the exterior wall sheeting instead of tar paper or tyvek.
We live in an extremely wet/cold climate. Water is our biggest enemy.
Any thoughts?
