Can't Login New Format!!!
why does the new forum come up when i try to login and then it wont let me. says wrong username or password, same one i've used for years. had to get here through email link.

when i go to my favs and try to enter breaktime their is this terrible looking forum page and it wont let me on.

Try clicking on Breaktime on the blue bar and add that page to your favorites again.

I had that problem earlier today, I thought the weather was messing w/my satellite connection.
You get an outline type page?
I did a CCleaner and restart and load new cookies, then it seemed to be OK.

When I logged in an hour ago (from the breaktime link on FH homepage) I was sent to the 'new' site which was populated with content that stopped two weeks ago. I posted to the only recent thread shown about how I hoped this was a beta gone wrong, and when I came back to see if anyone else had seen it I got the 'old' site.
So here's hoping it was a mistake, and bears no resemblance to the 'new' Breaktime.

It's pretty suck. I have no doubt the Breaktime community will continue to exist. Taunton is clearly not interested in hosting anymore. Apparently they feel the content they pay people to generate in the blogs is better than the free content Breaktime provides.
I would love to see site traffic numbers on which brings more eyeballs...

I wasn't / couldn't log in, waiting for a Pword to get logged and try again. It won't take my pword that works here.

My password was purged by the new system. When I did a reset, it told me the old password wasn't good enough, and wouldn't let me reset to it. So I had to pick another.

I'm thinking that is one of the beauties of the new format.
They CAN continue to fine tune.
I would hope that they do so.
It looks like it is certainly workable, already.
Let's hope that they can and will make it more "Regular Breaktime Poster", friendly.

Didn't realize that the new format had launched.
It won't accept my login info, so I can't say much about the inner workings. Strange, because I've had to login to the 'old' forum plenty of late, so I'm well acquainted with my credentials.
Can't find any of the photo threads there. Hope that's just because the data hasn't been transferred yet. There is a photo gallery directory, so hope springs eternal. Actually, check that, the gallery is under the 'House Chat' section, so who knows.
All the discussion links on the left fail to process. Looks like the launch isn't quite ready for prime time.
Software launches always entail some panic from the developers, and a lot of this can likely be ironed out easily. That said, this is the equivalent of nailing some studs to a trunk and calling it a tree house. Maybe it'll be a good platform to build on, maybe it'll just be an eyesore for the neighbors. I'm going to cross my fingers and hope for the former.

I meant... It looks like the new format may be fairly easily learned.
And I hope that they don't just leave it plain. I hope they make improvements that make it easier and more useable by those of us who have gotten used to the current forum.

John, I will give it a go-but the initial stuff I saw (and couldn't login-why, I don't know) was horrible to look at. Way worse than the big blue banner which never bothered me, the ads which load time is an inconvenience-and if your clicker goes astray............an unwanted trip..........buy oh well.
We know there's no changing back from what they want to do, so............
