Joel: Unless you are East of the Cascades or in >3000 ft elevation, ground source will save you less than $100 a year at 7.5 cents kW-hr (PSE rates). Is that worth the extra investment?
The calculations for my house (4800SF heated) show only $58 a year savings this year, I use air-air, Seattle area. E-mail me & I can send you a spreadsheet if you want the details.
