“Hot Water Baseboard” architectural
Wifey wants to give a historic look to our radiant hotwater baseboards (they may be Slant/Fin brand). I see www.go-overboard.com but wonder if you know of other options. Also I’ll have to miter the covers in our bay window. Thanks!

Both look okay. But a big annoyance of
most baseboards is that they are thin
sheetmetal. You hit them with a chair
or your shoe and you can dent them.
Basray is cast iron and is great
except for the cost and the fact
that paint always seems to peel on
them after time. Has anyone tried
getting them powder coated?
sorry for the typo:

we just covered 100' of baseboard, which previously had been covered by industrial steel covers, with custom covers made from corner moulding, flat mdf and punched screen. Moulding at top and bottom corners, mdf for face, and screen for top. Screen slots into base moulding behind radiators. Plenty of airspace below, etc. They look awesome with all wood painted white and screen painted black, but not sure of longevity.
Here is my solution to a curved hot water fin tube cover. Curly cherry cover/ curly yellow birch floor border.
