Hello
Here is wall detail
Certainteed Membrane vapour barrier (breathable if wall humidity get too high)
Roxul batt insulation (2x6 wall)
Plywood sheathing ( handles any accidental moisture better)
Typar Drain wrap (allows small air sapce behind foam)
2 layers of stagered 1.5 inch eps exterior foam board (breathable to exterior)
1 x 4 firring strips (rain screen)
Hardie board siding. (my wife loves it)
Widows are in installed as innie's with Azek exterior jamb extensions. (tripple pane dual low e and argon)
Goal, be economical, reduce all thermal gaps and be airtight.
Thoughts???

Why Roxul and not (post #206929, reply #1 of 1)
Why Roxul and not Cellulose?
Why inset? I could see snow piling up on the windowsills... and where will the cat perch?
YAY! I love WYSISYG editing! And Spellcheck!
