Hi,
Have the option of replacing a Ruud 90+ updraft gas furnace with an undated Ruud or a Gibson for a few hundred less $. Any feedback on reliability of the two?
Thanks, Jon

I'm not sure if I understand the question.
Your replacing a 90+% furnace?
Is it broke?
"undated"?
I am familiar with Rudd, but not Gibson.

The exchanger is cracked. It's about 13 yrs old. Jon
OK
What are you referring to when you say "undated" ruud?
Ruud is a reputable brand & nationwide.
Gibson is more of an east coast brand, which is not uncommon.
Out here in the west we have brands that people usually don't see east of the rockies.
Carrier is still making parts for almost every furnace company out there, I'm gonna take a guess & say that there are Carrier parts in a Gibson furnace.

It's an updraft, not undated.Jon
