My workshop is in the unfinished basement of my house. I had a new high efficiency oil fired heating and hot water system installed within the past year and the basement is noticeably cooler than it was with the previous heating system. It is a forced hot water heating system so there is no easy way for it to heat the basement. Is there a space heater that can be used where wood working and solvent based finishing work is being done? I work at the opposite end of the basement from the furnace and use exhaust fans to draw the air away from the furnace.
