Basswood (the trim carpenter) Checking Back In

basswoodcarpentry's picture

I exited Breaktime during the big format change a few years ago, when many of the posts lost photos and became worthless...

Anyway, I've been running into some of the BT regulars via FB latley and some on CT and thought it would be good to check back in. It was a good crowd here.

I couldn't remember which email and password I had here (I've had so many it is crazy), so I have a new account.

I do plan to check in here every so often. You can also find me on FB:  http://www.facebook.com/basswoodartisancarpentry

Good to see you poke your nose back in here.

This site is still pretty quiet. Most of the regulars are at one of the alternate sites. I'll send ya links if ya need 'em.

a few oldtimers are finding our ways back here... (post #207004, reply #6 of 7)

Hey Basswood and BH - good to see you both here.

I'm in a new state with a new home and new problemos...

Hi, Clara-

long time no see!

thought you had dropped off the face of the earth. Where have you moved to?

And just to rub it in a bit, DW and I are going to NO next week, and will be gorging at some restaurant there on Thanksgiving.

Very good to see you again!

I'm not on facebook, anywhere else to view what you been up to?  I'm sure it wasn't sitting around.

I loved reading about your projects, I might have commented a few times, but I did find all of them interesting, welcome back.

Hi, Brian-

how are things with you? Good to see you posting again.

Unfortunately, this place has splintered into several other forums. Like Boss said,  many of the old timers are at one or more of them.

Thanks Shep, Boss, Mark, and Calvin,

I lurked a few times here, and it didn't seem like it was as vibrant a community as before. Maybe the change over was so poorly handled that it frustrated a bunch of people. That and the economy tanking took the wind out of the sails?

Looks like some good hands are still holding down the fort though.

Cheers, Bass
