I had some residential concrete poured last week. It took two pours, four hours apart to complete my back yard design. One side has dried very white, and the older pour has stayed a tone of grey. Average thickness is 4″. Standard concrete. Do they really come into par as far as color over time, and how long are we talking about? What causes the difference in color? GW

It can be from a different mix but can also be due to differing temperatures and sun on surface, amt of water in mix, how soon it is worked with steel, etc. There is a multitude of variables in working with concrete.
