Gutters should be installed swith a drop of 1/16th of an inch per foot. On a run of 26 feet, with one downspout, the total drop would be 1 5/8 inch. With that amount of drop, how does an installer get the gutter under the drip edge the entire length of the run. I have trouble getting the last part of the drop lapped by the drip edge. As a result, water drips down between the facia and the guttter. Any suggestions?
Thanks

there are many gutter companys that will install them almost level, my guy just pitches them enough to have the water clear the outlet box and the remaining water evaporates quickly.
If the drip edge has a decent kick-out then you don't usually get much water behind the gutter, but if you're worried about it you can always run a strip of flashing behind the drip edge and over the edge of the gutter. It can be tacked in place after the gutter is up.
