I recall an issue of FHB that had a blurb about a product that was used to frame arches and curved walls. It was made of metal and was bent to form the shape and then screwed into place. Any help is greatly appreciated

check with a commercial steel stud/drywall/susp ceiling supplier. They have the curve track and can supply you with installation/application procedure.
