I am looking for dryer hoods that have removable screens for lint cleaning. Just to be clear these are exterior hoods.
I would prefer steel ones.
Can anyone recommend a brand?
Thanks
John

Dryers have built in lint screens, they should be cleaned every time you use the dryer. Some lint gets by and often collects in the duct. Once a year the ducts should be cleaned out. You don't want a screen in the duct or its exterior cap since that can trap lint and prevent full air flow making the dryer less efficient and maybe causing heat build up and potentially a fire. Dryers and their vents are just something that you have to do maintenance on, like it or not. Don't do anything that could cause problems.
PS, plastic or aluminum doesn't rust.
