How to connect toilet after 3/4 inch plank floor installed
Toilet currently installed over chipboard sub floor with very thin indoor/outdoor carpet. I am installing 3/4 inch fir plank flooring. How do I connect toilet to drain now that it will be 3/4 inch higher? Thanks.

Use a thicker wax ring, or a doubled wax ring.
Be sure to use the type that has the plastic horn, or funnel that reaches down inside the flange.
You may also need to use longer bolts (the ones that connect the bowl to the flange.)
If the thicker ring doesn't work (it should, for 3/4") you can buy a flange extension.
go waxless
Look at the Fernco waxless toilet seals. About $5 or $6. Install one and it's good for the life of the toilet no matter how many times you pull and replace the toilet.
Good suggestion--new to me.
I suppose using one on a previously-set toilet requires that you use solvent to really clean the bowl surface so that the Fernco adhesive sticks right. Have you used one in this situation?
