How to keep hoses & cords from sliding off a roof
I was on my roof last weekend powerwashing the house and seemed to be constantly wrestling with the hose to keep enough slack on the roof where I could work comfortably. I kept having to stop and pull up a dozen feet of hose, then it would slowly slip off the roof. Is there any trick/device that would help me keep an extra few feet of hose or extension cord up on the roof?
Thanks for the help!

I take it all up on the roof and put the excess on the other side of the ridge. You can also loop it so it is on either side of a plumbing vent or other projection.
