I apologize I had a hard enough time finding this place again; Taunton has made it harder since the last time I was here. My apology is in not finding how to search archived discussions first.
My question is; what info can anyone give me regarding ICFs. Experience, recommended manufacturers, warnings, etc.
Thanks.
Hope this forum is still going strong; itherwise I might drop my digital subscription.

I did some research.
A few years ago I designed a ICF house. I looked into the various manufacturers and shystems and settled on Quad-Lock. Their system is based on interchangable components that are assembled into multiple configurations depending on the design. They also offer floor forming systems.
I did my basement with them - EcoBlock, I think. Long time ago. I also helped a friend do his shop with them, and watched several pros work with them as I reasearched an article. The short answer is that if you have carpentry skills, ICFs are really simple to work with. The risks happen at the pour. You have to take the bracing seriously. I rented bracing from the supplier that also served as scaffolding around the inside of the walls. Read the manufacturer's instructions and follow them to the letter.
