Saw an ad or article (can’t remember which) from late 2001 or early 2002 copy of FH for an in-line hot water heater. It was to be installed under a bathroom sink furthest from the main hwh, and would recirculate the water every so often in order to provide instant hot water when needed. May have been called a recirculater or something. Really need it now since my master bath is 68 feet from the hwh and takes longer to get the hot water than it does to use it. Can anybody help?
Thanks……..Patt

I'm not sure of the advert. that you saw.....but here is what I would suggest for your somewhat distant bathroom hot water needs without adding all the pipe and $ needed for a recirculator.
There are several companies that produce small (1.5-3.0 gal.) 110v. under the sink water heaters that can be inserted in the hot water supply line to the sink. This small heater will supply enough hot water to do hands, face, etc. while the main heater 68' away begins to fill the main line to the bathroom with more hot water.
Our kitchen sink is 50 feet from the main water heater and there is a State Industries 1.5 gal tucked behind the wastebasket under that sink..............does a nice job and was easy to install.
