I’m about to do a bathroom countertop with plastic laminate that was stored rolled up in my brother’s garage for the past 4 years. The laminate itself was well protected and is in fine shape, but out of the roll it doesn’t lie flat. In its relaxed state, it probably has an arc of about, oh, a 5 ft radius. I’ve had it in the basement by the boiler for the past three weeks where it’s nice and warm, but it doesn’t seem to have relaxed much. Once installed, I’m worried that the edges will peel up over time, even after it’s glued. Am I concerned over nothing here? Or are there measures I should take to make it lie flatter before installation? Thanks.

You should have no problem with it. Just make sure you use a laminate roller, and roll from the center to the edges when you glue it down.
You might roll it up the other way and leave it for a week or so and see what happens.
