I have typical, 4 x 4 glazed ceramic tile on bath floors and into a sunken tub/shower. Is there a product or modification method to add some slip resistance to the tile? I have replacement on my List, but it’s way down there. Thanks.

Wow - this must be the first topic to solicit not even one response. Does anyone know why so much of this stuff gets installed?
*Try http://www.slipgrip.com. Don't know anything about the product.
*T-Square - 4 x 4 glazed tile on wet walking surfaces is NOT standard for the very reason that you ask.Jeff
*You had this posted somewhere else and I answered. If you are going to replace or remodel in the near future the most cost effective solution might be to get one or more of the rubber bath mats with the thousand little suction cups on the back. And, next time around, don't use slick wall tile on the floor.
*Thanks Guys - While new to me, our house is over twenty years old. My sister's one year old house has it also, so obviously cheap and dirty still slips by some folks. I can always fall back to the suction mats, but am looking for something a bit more refined. I'll check slipgrip and see what they have.thanks
*Well if you dont like the whole bath mat make up some shower slippers out of one like Diver Dan or get some river shoes.
*They make tile with a textured "no-slip" surface specifically for showers.T
*You do no appear to be alone with your problem. Did a quick Web search with a number of responses. The firs three to pop up were (and I know nothing about any of these):http://safestepnon-slip.com/http://www.vonthorn.com/ceramic.htmhttp://www.stagestep.com/generalcare.htmAlso, some thoughts on the subject by a professional facilities manager:http://www.appa.org/resources/Facilities_Manager/011112/listnotes.html
*Thanks to this forum for some great info. I have ordered some "SlipGrip" and will post a opinion on it's performance after I give it a try.
