I've never heard of nor used Starlight brand in any new construction or remodel.
I think I've only installed a couple other brands other than Velux.
Ive replaced quite a few oddballs, plastic domes, some Andersens and always used Velux in their place.
ive had no problems nor callbacks with Velux.
What makes the sizing of the skylights "custom"? Is there a possibility of changing your openings to stock sizes that would lower your overall costs?
