I received a set of 12 hex/allen wrenches in 10 sizes:
1/4″
3/16″
5/32″
9/64″
1/8″
3/32″
5/64″
1/16″
1/20″ (two)
0.035″ (two)
Most are common enough sizes, but I would never expect to need 1/20″ or 0.035″. Yet, they made a point of including two of each.
Where are 1/20″ and 0.035″ hex screws used?

It is hard to say where you might se anything being used. When I was working at IBM I asked one of the senior engineers why we had to carry 40-50 different allen, bristol, torx and metrics when we only had about 10 screw sizes and the answer was they buy assemblies from vendors and the vendor decides what kind of screws he will use. The same is true everywhere.
Once you get all the SAE allens you think you need you will be starting on metric allens, becoming more popular and torx that are everywhere.
They give you two of those because they're so small you might lose them.
Or round them out.
The smaller the key, the more it has to fit perfectly and a little wear shows up right away.
