I am finally getting around to finishing the outside of the garage I built not too long ago. But, in the meantime, a hornets nest appeared.
Well, to get rid of them, I sprayed the nest with wasp spray. The Tyvek turned somewhat transparent, and expanded.
My question is: Is the Tyvek OK, or do I need to replace or cover it with new?
Thanks!

Cetainly one option to make sure you have the orginal integrity of the wrap is to cut out the damaged piece(s) and cover with new. Tape the overlapping joints with Tyvek tape.
If it's easily accessible and you have the materials it wouldn't be dumb to tape a new piece of Tyvek over the spot. No need to cut out the old stuff unless it's a fairly large area (more than maybe 10 square feet) or it's wrinkled so badly the new piece won't lie reasonably flat.
There could be a need to remove the damaged wrap if the chemical residue effects the new. Why take that chance?
