Wipes for final cleanup of lead paint remediation: Know a source???
I did the Lead Based Paint Remediation Class, and got EPA certified, three years ago. We are now getting ready to do an interior project on a building with lead paint.
As part of the class, they taught us that as final clen-up you have to wipe down everything in the room you disturbed the paint in with special wipes, that have an example card on the box. If the wipe is darker than the example you have to rewipe.
Problem is, I can’t find the wipes. And, Not knowing a brand name, etc., I haven’t been able to search online for them.
Anyone know a source, or brand name?

I can get wipes from an area supplier (Modern Bldrs Supply). The wipes weren't the specific thing in our class-the main deal was to have a "clean" wipe for final wipe down (guidelines - up to so many window sills, 40 sf of surface area, etc...............and then to compare to the "card". The card was the important thing-we got one at our class.
Here's a natioinal source for the wipes the instructor demo'd. They may supply the card as well
dammit-I cannot paste the link.
Go to Grainger-look up D-wipes.
Damn backward stink'n software and the excuses made for it.
Thanks calvin
Thanks, I'll check it out tomorrow.
