Drywall hanging wanted in Phoenix East Valley
Drywall hanging wanted in Phoenix East Valley (post #205227)

Does anyone have recommendations for drywall hanging / taping / texturing in the Phoenix, AZ East Valley area.
Would particularly be interested in someone looking for weekend / side type work. The job is a workshop I have built.

Why the weekend/side type work?
Can they not get into the shop during normal business hours?

Calvin,
The shop can be accessed during the week - it just takes more doing on my part.
As far as being side work; I have built most of the workshop with barter, side jobs, etc. So I am always looking for a good deal. The drywaller doesn't have to do it as a side job, just something I was open to.

So you're interested in hiring a probably uninsured guy from a crew looking to make some "extra" money. Will you be paying under the table as well? I'm sure you'll find a taker. And I assume you'll be looking for references, not everyone does a good job.
The project will go smoother and faster if it gets hung and finished w/o the moving of equipment and limited access.
Best of luck.

Hey, be thankful you didn't (post #205227, reply #5 of 5)
Hey, be thankful you didn't get a lecture on hiring union labor and paying prevailing wages along with a demand you get an engineer involved. I swear if I started a post about going to the bathroom, someone would come along and demand I get an engineer to do a load calculation.
Best of luck on your project.
