Dual 216 degree curved stairways
Dual 216 degree curved stairways (post #179411)

I posted this earlier.but this project has been so delayed as I have waited for the decision to make it in mahagony...then order and receive the mahogany. I decided to start a new thread. I am now laminating the 3 inch thick curb inside stringers to both stairways. The inner plies are finished. Now I have to laminate mahogany cap strips over these laminates....then laminate a 1/4 inch thich mahogany layer for the inside face of these curbs.
These two stairs will be stacked together inside a 24 foot tall turret.

I started assembling one of two stairways yesterday. It only takes a day to assemble one...but weeks and weeks prepping for this. I cant describe the euphoric feeling seeing the parts all come together.
I will now focus my efforts on the bottom stairway that fits under this one.
