Cal ,
Thats the only thing that does work here . You browse and upload and it's already embedded in thumbnail size . You can expand it twice I guess so it's of a size you can view .
It's all in the software here , just took from my resized pics in a folder .
Hope you see this !!!
Happy Holidays , Walter

Cal ,
I just tried to add another picture and I got a message I had exceeded my quota !!!!
Yup, we've been trying that and yes, it says my 2.2kb exceed my ..................i dunno, 1 mb something quota.
here it is:
The selected file verysupersmallChristmas_Card.JPG could not be uploaded. The file is 2.55 KB which would exceed your disk quota of 1 MB.
I'm not sure what that means. Either our total quota (which I don't think so) or our individual picture total, which isn't a kilo less than a megaton bomb?
Attach files to this comment
Files must be smaller than 1 MB and have one of the following extensions: jpg jpeg gif png txt doc xls pdf ppt pps odt ods odp.
That's right above the browse box. Must be some tweeking necessary here....
Is that like twitter? If so, gunner could fix that.

I'm thinking when they miracuously get the kb/mb thing working that we just may be able to insert regular pictures from our computer into a reply.
or not.

There's nothing wrong with the software. You're right that a workable forum is possible. But this egg was hatched while it was still in the chicken's butt.
Kind of like building a structure that will barely stand up on it's own and then trying to bring it up to code.
Some one compared it to building a small house and then adding on as the family grew. The family was already grown and we got taken from a comfy house and put into one of those pink or green tow behind trailers carney folk live in when they're working.

Boy, you said a mouthful there.
If luck is with this place, they'll get these what seem to be simple fixes, fixed b/4 new members and old return. The big ones involve moving around here with ease. If traffic increases b/4 the roads finished, gonna make rushhour seem like bumper cars at the carnival.
