door/window stops

user-2439007's picture

I have a client that would like two wood pushout french casement windows and the top of a dutch door to be stopped in several different open positions. So far I haven't found any hardware that will do the job. The client doesn't care for the vintage style window stops that attach to the sill and the bottom rail of the sash. Does anyone know of any hardware that is available or a clever way of locking the door/windows in place.

I'd suppose you mean the sliding rod w/thumb screw to slide the casement open/fix in position.............as the one they don't like?

after that, no ideas at this time.
