I was thinking of buying one of these saws for upcoming reno, specifically for brick replacement and aluminum window removal
Would appreciate any thoughts.

We have one in our company and it is indespensible in the right circumstances. It's perfect for precisely cutting out bricks without risking loosening surrounding bricks (which can happen if using a chipper).
