Attaching Makita Random Orbit sander to Fein vacuum??
I have a Makita BO5020 random orbit sander. I really like it, but want to find a way to attach my Fein vaccum to it. Is there any way to do this?
thanks

Depends on the dust pickup size
I looked at the online picture, and it apperas to have round dust pickup nozzle. So, you should be able to get some type of adapter to hook it to the Fein hose.
I bought Porter Cable sanders because they make a dedicated 1-inch hose that fits the sanders, and several other tools such as their biscuit joiner, and circular saws.
Dust pick is lots easier without having to try to cobbling together an adapter.
Duct tape.

There was a flexible short rubber pipe included in my Fein vac. tools box. That might work.
Also, I bought an added PC hose adapter-goes over the sander end and inside the Fein/Festool hose.
and have duct taped in a pinch.
