Hello, All-

Thought this would be a good one to get going again, at least for all of us tool [JOBSITE WORD]s and junkies.

Dont turn it off.

It'll never come on again.

I love that router but after using it in the router table milling mdf, the switch clogs and takes alot of blowing on and rocking of the switch to get it to work again.

I complained to Bosch and they sent me a "new" type of sealed switch. I get the switch and it was the exact switch that I already had in the tool.

What is your remedy?

Just kinda been putting up with it. Like I said a million times rocking the switch while blowing out the dust like a madman.

The Bosch laser measuring thingy.  Throw the tape away.

My saw stand is a Sawhelper, with the tapes mounted in the wings, both sides.

Most all one-only-needed cuts are done sighting the end of the board to those guides, thus there is no pull-out-the-tape-and-mark-the-board required.

For repeat cuts, the adjustable flipdown stops have plexi windows with hairline sights for setting to the tape reads.

A saw-stand setup with tape readouts and multiple adjustable stops, both sides, is a tremendous aid to efficiency and accuracy.

Sorry, we've been slacking off.

I'm going to order another AD&E stand tomorrow. Probably the 10+8.

Bought a used EZ setup with 2-50" rails, clamps and a PC 7-1/4" saw.

Found out the saw wouldn't cut through a door on the rails,  so I am selling it.

I bought an 8-1/4" Makita sidewinder,  they order the saw and mount the base to it then send it to me.

Got a few more anti chip rails,  white ones on the sides of the rails.  And a smart clamp setup upgrade.

Lowes had the 24" Irwin Qwik-Grip clamps on sale buy one get one free. I didn't see any sign, the check out lady just asked me if they were still on special.

I said " hell, I dunno, I don't work here"  ( I was in a hurry) She called someone and sure enough thats the deal. I also had 2 12" of the same clamp. She rung me out and then printed a 10% off coupon..so I headed out.

Halfway to the van I thought " wait a second..another clamp minus the 10% and get a free one is a DEAL"

So, hurry or not back in I went..now I got 4 of them suckers and the 2 12" I went in for to begin with.

I went into HD for a hinge and walked out of with the small PC belt sander and the Ridgid equivelant to the Milwaukee Hole Hawg.  Both were on clearence for 1/2 off ad they didn't have any more in boxes so I picked them up for another 25% off.

Total cost out the door was around 160 Bucks.

I forgot the hinge.....

Get out of here?!?!  Seriously?

I'd have bought two at that price.  Was it open box/display or returned or something?  Do I need to be at Lowe's tomorrow morning?  Can't hardly buy a decent wormdrive for that amount!

It was the only one, it wasn't opened returned or anything. I could not believe it. There it was sitting on the floor next to the 50% of clearance cart. I hunted up the manager and asked if the saw was included. He said it sure was. 50% of an already marked down $369.00

Well that's a heck of a score then!  Good for you!

At Lowes after church and saw they still had the Gundlach laminate shears on the markdown table.  Have no idea what they sell for.  Looked at them the other day and I think they had $15 on them.  Today had $10.  A sharp young lady who I have worked with on some lock orders walked by and asked if I was finding everything.

Told her I was looking for these cheaper, she pulled out a sharpie and put $5 on them.  Said yesterday was the big markdown day and they were pretty well cleaned out.  Asked if there was anything else I was interested in.  It is a good store!

Daughter got me the nail Extractor from Duluth trading for Christmas.  Beats my collection of nippers all to heii.
