Duct design (post #193216, reply #1 of 2)
of any practical sense, is not really covered in a book. At least not that I have ever seen. I learned to design ductwork based on the "equal friction" method, by manual means (pencil, paper and a Trane Ductulator). SMACNA (sheet metal and airconditioner contractors national assocaition) http://www.smacna.org/ has some duct design manuals.
You may check on the websites of the manufacturers for non-commercial products like LifeBreath. Look for application guides and/or manuals.
Thanks for the reply. Will (post #193216, reply #2 of 2)
