Dear Friends:


I’d like to apologize to all of you who have been waiting so patiently for your first issue of Inspired House (especially those of you who got your bill first-- definitely not our standard operating procedure). An unexpectedly strong response to our marketing efforts (and some temporary gremlins in our system) conspired against our usual promptness.


So please accept our apologies, and take your time enjoying your first issue when it arrives (yes, it really is in the mail). And rest assured that we certainly don’t expect you to pay for your subscription before you’ve had a chance to see the magazine. To those of you who have already paid for your subscription, thank you for your promptness, and we hope you enjoy the premier issue of Inspired House.

That makes me feel better. I have already paid for the magazine.


It is strange that it takes so long for a magazine to come; most letters and packages take three days. I guess bulk rate things are a lot slower.
