piece about toekick for dishwasher (post #175732)

I remember seeing a very brief piece in IH a while ago about installing a length of regular, wood toekick under the dishwasher. For the life of me, I can't find it now. Does anybody know which issue this was in? Thanks for the help.

Joge2468,
I don't know the article you mention, but had a similar situation. As you know, molding there could require removal for service to the dishwasher. When we installed laminate flooring, the trim was a laminate quarter round. I had the installer cut it out to length then just slip it in place. It has remained stationary with no movement for years now. If movement were an issue, a temporary "hold", maybe a dab of hot glue depending on the surface, double stick tape, or maybe a piece of self stick velcro on the back could hold it satisfactorily, but allow easy access if needed. Just a thought on a solution that worked for us. Good luck on this do-able job.
P.S. You don't see the seam/cut mark on the quarter round, which might show on a different molding.
