I am due to recoat my 2-story log house with Flood CWF UV stain. I have typically brushed or spray and brushed in the past with 2 stain coats, wet-on-wet, as recommended. I end up with lap marks, which I don’t like and wonder if anyone knows how to avoid that. I use natural breakmarks as much as possible, such as corners, or windows, etc., to avoid, but a lot of lapmarks still shows. Appreciate any ideas on how to deal with this. Thanks!

I feel your pain.
Just some little things, that arent always practical.
Dont paint on the sun side. Follow the wood along the length to its extremities.
Is the product you are using semi trans stain? Tinted stain?
