Hi everyone,
I’m in dire need of purchasing a new random orbit sander, and of course, of the hundred or so back issues of Fine Home Building I have on my shelves, I’ve managed to lose the one from last year with the R.O.S. reviews. It was the issue with “A simple approach to raised-panel Wainscoting” on the cover. Can anyone tell me what they liked the best in terms of a smallish, palm-held style sander (not the ones with the right-angle grip)? Your help would be greatly appreciated…if I can order the sander today, I can get it by the day after tomorrow to get started on an important project…

This would be a good question for Breaktime (the forum associated with FHB), or even Knots where I hear they do some woodworking now and then ;)
Yep, your're right...I discovered those seperate forums right after my original post. Oops!
I have never heard of a single person on the planet who was sorry they purchased a tool from Festool. These are top-of-the line tools, if you're a weekend warrior, you may be better off at Home Depot.
