Everlast Polymeric Siding-Anyone Know anything about it
Help
Client asked me what I knew about Everlast Siding. I told them I knew nothing. There are not even any distributors withing a few hundred miles. (I can fix that quick if I need to)
Anyone have any experience with the stuff? Looks simple to install, dont know pro’s and cons but want to give my client some feedback.
Any help is appreciated.

Moderately interesting. It's apparently a plastic composite, though exactly what the plastic's composited with they're a little vague. It's thicker than conventional vinyl siding, nails up like regular wood/composite siding (no slots), only it has a lip on the bottom that engages the top of the course below. Still apparently required J-channel.

I know quite a bit about it. We installed over 40 homes with it last year in the Boston, MA metro area. Check out our site: http://www.EverlastCompositeSiding.com
We used to do more fiber cement siding projects, but there were too many pre and post install issues and it has become too much of a commodity. The market appears to be moving in the direction of better technologies like advanced composites.

Thanks for the feedback. Have you had any call back issues or learning experiences that you can advise me on?
How long have you been installing it? Just last year?
A little less harsh here in Southeastern Pa so we dont have much in the way of problems with fibercement other than the normal painting process if it is not pre-finished.
Is the installed price similar to fibercement?
Do you use Azek or equivilent trim with a butt joint or a J channel?
Do you put a backer at the butt joints between 2 panels?
Client is going to ask a lot of questions and any help is really appreciated.
Thanks
